BUILT BEYOND

PERFORMANCE

Worthy to Win was created to help athletes overcome fear, self-doubt, and self-sabotage so they can perform at their true level when it matters most.

Built through more than 25 years of coaching experience, the work centers on one core truth: when athletes develop a stable sense of self-worth and understanding, their ability can express itself freely under pressure.

The Worthiness Dilemma

Many athletes work hard, train consistently, and still struggle to perform freely in competition. The issue is often not effort or preparation, it is the internal pressure created by fear, self-doubt, and identity becoming tied to results.

Worthy to Win calls this the “Worthiness Dilemma”: the repeated cycle of underperformance, hesitation, overthinking, and self-sabotage that keeps athletes from expressing their true ability.

The goal is not simply to improve confidence.
The goal is to remove what interferes with performance in the first place.

Why Worthy to Win Exists

Worthy to Win was built on the belief that athletes who develop a deep sense of self-worth and understanding can realize their full potential in sport and life.

After working with thousands of athletes across every level of competition, Joey Johnson saw the same patterns repeatedly appear: fear under pressure, unstable confidence, and performance becoming tied too closely to external validation.

Worthy to Win was created to address those deeper issues through structured mindset development, performance systems, and long-term transformation.

No. 03

More Than Mindset

Worthy to Win combines mindset development, performance analysis, coaching, and competition-based application into one integrated process.

The work is designed to help athletes:
  • Build self-trust under pressure
  • Reduce overthinking and emotional instability
  • Compete with greater clarity and freedom
  • Develop mental resilience that lasts

This is not about hype, motivation, or temporary confidence. It is about building the internal foundation required for consistent performance.
